How can i add comments in a cell from an excelsheet ?

is this possible?

I use the following code:

$oExcel = _ExcelBookNew()
$oExcel.Activesheet.Range("A1").AddComment.Text("Test")

Adds the comment "Test" to cell A1.

$oComment.Shape.TextFrame.Characters.Font.Bold = False

What about method or property to change comment yellow box size to fit the content? If I put too long comment then it's not visible fully (only part)

@maniootek A quick Google search turned up this link for me. This line is the one of interest --

    xComment.Shape.TextFrame.AutoSize = True

Should be pretty easy to convert that to Autoit and test it.

I searched for "excel comment size set visual basic". "Visual Basic" returns example code that can easily be translated to AutoIt.

Now, very long text is fitted into one-line box. Is there an option to set max width and autofit of the yellow box?

Set widht and height of the shape as described here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/api/excel.shape.height
