MHz
Really nice MHz !Happy birthday !! Have a good one :D<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Thankyou Layer. Alright my only other idea was to be able to extract icons and cursors from exe files.P.S. Happy B-Day <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Thankyou SupraNatural.Just add Resource Hacker into @ProgramFilesDir & '\CMenu\Utilities'. Start the CMenu Editor, and it will be automatically added to the contextmenu. It is a very comprehensive program to use. It would take alot to achieve better. I am sure that it will satisfy your needs?
SupraNatural
Yea nice program thanks Edited August 27, 2005 by SupraNatural Visit http://www.blizzedout.com/forums/register....referrerid=8306 for the top blizzard hacks. SupraNatural
This gives me an idea, when you write click on text and it says cut copy paste etc.. Could you add a menu choice that says "View with NoWordWrap" and this would bring up a gui that lets you see the text with... no word wrap. This would be useful for copy/paste of scripts on the forum. Visit http://www.blizzedout.com/forums/register....referrerid=8306 for the top blizzard hacks. WoW, TfT, D2/LOD, CS. MHz
Yes, could be useful. Nice to see you cooking up ideas. But CMenu is limited to file or folder contextmenu options only. Background contextmenu or drive contextmenu etc are not supported by the shell extension supplied with the dll.
busysignal
MHz, again nice work on CMenu. I just go the updated post and Dl'ed the v1.7. Nice additions. I found it useful in limiting the already bloated CM's that I had. Now I can sub-folder what I want more efficently.. Cheers.. P.S. Happy B-Day.. busysignal
MHz, I was just looking at all the files needed to get CMenu 1.7 working... and all I can say is WOW! Nice implementation.. But as in all things, I found something a bit strange. I am running W2K and noticed that the program installed fine, registry entries work, but there was not menu option or shortcut created. I had to run the program manually from the folder c:\program files\cmenu. Not sure if this is a fluke or what. Thought I should let you know.. Cheers.. MHz
I would regard it as a fluke. Maybe reboot was needed or some W2K registry issue with not updating...Not sure. I exhaustedly test it. Install it millions of times, without a hiccup. Glad you have it working OK though.
jftuga
Wow, this program really rocks. I would like to suggest (for 1.8) when you click on "Path to Clipboard" that you include double quotes around file names that have spaces in them. -John Admin_Popup, show computer info or launch shellRemote Manager, facilitates connecting to RDP / VNCProc_Watch, reprioritize cpu intensive processesUDF: _ini_to_dict, transforms ini file entries into variablesUDF: monitor_resolutions, returns resolutions of multiple monitorsReport Computer Problem, for your IT help deskProfile Fixer, fixes a 'missing' AD user profile
MHz
I would have to consider the double quotes idea. It would need to be an option, as double quotes are not needed on occasions. It would have to present a nagging messagebox, or to go into a Gui ?
LxP
You could include/exclude quotes depending on the status of the Shift/Ctrl key when the menu item is clicked.

Will look into...<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Not really -- you just detect if the Shift or Ctrl key is pressed when the CMenu process is called. The time between selecting the context menu entry and checking for the Shift/Ctrl status would be negligible in most cases. Users can simply hold the key down a little longer if they aren't getting the desired result.
MHz
I have done some testing with Ctrl/Shift concept. Use Ctrl for double quotes and Shift for single quotes. Works Ok. Seems to work with a mouse toggle also by rightclick, then hold right button, and then a leftclick. Or the middle mouse button can be used also with the leftclick. Maybe have both for usage? The 8.3 entries will not get quotes. Do not see the need? Ideally, this maybe the best and easiest method to accomplish the need for quotes around the output.
