Get gdi text from application

The traditional way "WinGetText" of course, doesn't work for text created with GDI+. I need to retrieve it from an application so I can use it in my own. Help please?

Use OCR.

When GDI+ adds the text to an image, I think it just sets the appropriate pixels. I don't think the text string itself exists any more, just some changed pixels in the image.
