Elmer Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 After mastering the basic RUN and SEND commands to automate web/IE activities, now I'm trying to utilize the _IE functions. I'm not creating BOTS or anything sinister, just automate simple web logins and update checking activities. I would like to open a new TAB in IE8, as opposed to a new occurance that _IECreate does. I've reviewed the IE Help examples, and the footnotes for IECreate, but guess I'm still too low on learning curve to figure out how to do this. Are there other IE function examples that I should be looking at to broaden my experience? Thanks for assistance

Now, mind if I ask how/where "Navigate2" comes from - in-other-words, how would I have found that to use? Assume the 2048 is something special... care to elaborate? Anyways, thanks for the assistance. Always good to learn new things! Elmer
