hello..good day..

is there a way to focus on certain page element when using _IECreateEmbedded function.?

i want to create a GUI where it displays the log in form of yahoo..

how can i set the log in form in the gui where it fits the small IE control provided? thanks in advance..

Check out _IEPropertySet and the parameters width and height. At least from what you said I think that is what you want. You want to be able to move the window around to show you just the login form.

thanks for the reply but it didn't work..it only changes the size of the internet explorer window and with the gui it only changes the size of the control. thanks anyway for the attempt..

You can try the .scrollIntoView method...

If your element reference is in $oInput, use $oInput.scrollIntoView

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble
