file open question

i want to use the file open command to open files but i want to open a then up into a HEX edit format.

Have you looked into Run() or RunWait() in the Help file? Would something like this work?

Run("C:\Program Files\My App\app.exe c:\some_path\file.ext")

no i want to try and make a simple hex program that i can take txt files and look at them at hte hex level.

Open your file(s) in binary mode then read all or part of it with which you can setup your display as you like: hex, octal, ROT13, binary, base97, alien...
