Moderators Melba23 Posted March 21, 2010 Moderators Posted March 21, 2010 Finalversion,How do you write any code if you do not understand this simple concept then? You position a label in a GUI like this GUICtrlCreateLabel("Fred", 10, 10, 100, 50). The coordinates of the label are are as follows:This is the GUI: #------------------------------------------------# | | | This is the lbel | | 10, 10 #--------------------------# 110, 10 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 10, 60 #--------------------------# 110, 60 | | | | | #------------------------------------------------# Left = 10 Top = 10 Right = Left + Width = 10 + 100 = 110 Bottom = Top + Height = 10 + 50 = 60Some functions need Left, Top, Width, Height. Others need Left, Top, Right, Bottom. Just read the Help file carefully to see which. kaotkbliss Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 (edited) It is like when using an area selection tool, you start at the top left corner and go to the bottom right corner. Those are the 2 coordinates you need.So basically, ( left, top, right, bottom,left, top= x,y of the top-left corner of your arearight, bottom=x,y of the bottom-right corner of your areax,y...|--------|...|........|...|--------|.............x,y Edited March 21, 2010 by kaotkbliss 010101000110100001101001011100110010000001101001011100110010000 001101101011110010010000001110011011010010110011100100001 My Android cat and mouse gamehttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.KaosVisions.WhiskersNSqueek We're gonna need another Timmy!
