ripdad Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 (edited) @storme As a responsible program coder - I can't release the v2 source. 1) I found a bad Windows exploit while in the testing of it - which I had to add redirection code to deal with it. 2) I put 2 self-protection codes in it - so it won't be circumvented. (not that it can't be - nothings perfect) 3) A few other things I can't mention here. Anyway - I will look into your suggestions. I'm sure I can add ini support and logging for it. Would that be okay? -edit- Otherwise, you can modify v1 to do what you want. Edited March 20, 2010 by ripdad "The mediocre teacher tells. The Good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. ripdad Posted March 20, 2010 Author Posted March 20, 2010 (edited) On another note .. When running v1 or v2 -- you run into this scenario: You have typed "program.exe" into one of the white fields and it won't start up. 1) If "program.exe" is dependant on other exe's then you'll also have to add it's exe support files. 2) If "program.exe" is a install program -- it will usually have support files - as above. In either case - if you don't know what the support files are - then you can pause or exit KillProcsXP and then after the program or install finishes - activate it again if needed. WeMartiansAreFriendly Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 You've got a good starting point. Don't bother, It's inside your monitor!------GUISetOnEvent should behave more like HotKeySet()
ripdad Posted March 22, 2010 Author Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) @WeMartiansAreFriendly,Well thanks - I think.I only have one question -- a good starting point from where?I guess that depends on what reality you live.ie: is the glass half empty or half full? This tool is just a utility that can quiet a computer down, so it can be worked on when it has malware on it.Thats all it was intended to do..
