4Eyes
Can I chime in here? I saw reference to exclusive mode in the release notes for 3.3.6.1 today but there is no reference to how to use FileOpen() to open the file in exclusive mode. Am I missing something here? 4Eyes Edited May 14, 2010 by 4Eyes
martin
TripleDES,It is actually fixed in 3.3.6.1: 16th April, 2010 - v3.3.6.1AutoIt:Fixed #1515: FileOpen() still opening in exclusive mode in some situations. M23Off topic but how do you update AutoIt now? The last few versions fail for me with a message "Error moving file", so I update from the downloads page. The option to edit or run is no longer given and now if I double click on the au3 files they run instead of opening to edit. (very annoying). Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script. 4Eyes
Martin, I see nothing in the registry for this but under 'File types' (in XP from windows explorer, tools menu, folder options, file types. For Vista/Windows 7, add another dozen or so seemingly unrelated random mouse clicks etc ). Scroll down to extension AU3. Mine shows 'Opens with: Scite....". Looks like you can fidd... er, manipulate options there. Conversely, uninstalling AutoIT then reinstalling will ask the question about what to do about running vs editing. Hope this helps.
