JohnJF Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I would like to change the SciTE editor (in AutoIt3) to use bigger font. Can this be done? If so, how to do it? I don't see menu settings for this and it is not clear from the search results. Thanks a lot for help!
James Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 JohnF,I don't see menu settings for this and it is not clear from the search results.First you need to have an AU3 script open before you'll see the menu options. Now click the Options menu item and look for SciTEConfig or just press Ctrl+1 to open the SciTE configuration window.Near the bottom of that window is a section for the font and sizes etc for the editor. You can change the font here.James Blog - Seriously epic web hosting - Twitter - GitHub - Cachet HQ

water Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 The problem is, that you can remove the SciTe Config tool from the menu and then the shortcut no longer works. Please try this: Start "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\SciTEConfig\SciteConfig.exe". On the tools Tab select all Tools and set the font size on Tab "General settings". JohnJF Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 I don't have the config exe file. I guess it is not the full version editor, will download another and try it out. Thanks for the quick help! The problem is, that you can remove the SciTe Config tool from the menu and then the shortcut no longer works. Please try this:Start "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\SciTEConfig\SciteConfig.exe".On the tools Tab select all Tools and set the font size on Tab "General settings".
JohnJF Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 Now verified - it works with the full version. The tools menu also seem to have several new debug features. Would pass this to any new users - get a new editor: http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/downloads.shtml if you have not done so :-)I don't have the config exe file. I guess it is not the full version editor, will download another and try it out. Thanks for the quick help!
