Moderators Melba23 Posted March 27, 2014 Author Moderators Share Posted March 27, 2014 nitekram,Sorry for the delay in replying - I have been off flying again. That was entirely my fault - I forgot that using Default as a parameter for the $vJust parameter also sets all the others (including the new one) to Default as well. So I was basically over-ruling the parameter I was trying to set! If you use this and it works then all is well:Func _Toast_Set(1, Default, Default, Default, Default, Default, Default, 3)As you say it does I think we can call this a success for you - now I need to work with MilesAhead to get his toolbar playing along nicely with the new code. slayR
I'm using it in a download-program, and when the program gets called twice (e.g. 2 downloads at the same time), the second Toast overlaps the first Toast. " $aRet = _Toast_Show(0, " Finding Programs - Please Wait .... MilesAhead
Melba, I was wondering if you had any ideas how to avoid "collisions" where multiple programs using Toast might obscure each others Toast? I'm thinking it would most likely happen at logon where programs starting up might use the Toast to show a delay info as they run other programs etc.. I have taken the expedient of modding Toast so that I can open a Toast in the middle of any edge of the screen. But even so, if a program written by someone else opens a Toast I have no idea as the class name is pretty generic. Moderators Melba23 Posted March 26, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2015 MilesAhead,Not off the top of my head - I will have a think. But this is pretty general problem as I often get overlapping notifications from various third-party apps that are running, so I am not sure it will be that easy. Are all of the apps using my UDF?
