BitByteBit Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Hey, I'm trying to make a little program to set the priority of the active window. Not sure what command to use to return the PID of the active window. Not looking to be spoonfed, just pushed in the right direction to the command I need to use. Thanks, #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> $PriorityGui = GUICreate(" Priority","",49,890,666,"",$WS_MINIMIZEBOX) $PriorityList = GUICtrlCreateCombo("Low", 0, 1,125) GUICtrlSetData(-1, "Below Normal|Normal|Above Normal|High", "High") GUISetState(@SW_Show,$PriorityGui ) WinGetTitle while 1 If $msg = $PriorityList then Set() WEnd Func Set() $Priority = GUICtrlRead($PriorityList) Select Case $Priority = "Low" ProcessSetPriority($PID,0) ;MsgBox(0,"","Priority set to Low") Case $Priority = "Below Normal" ProcessSetPriority($PID,1) ;MsgBox(0,"","Priority set to Below Normal") Case $Priority = "Normal" ProcessSetPriority($PID,2) ;MsgBox(0,"","Priority set to Normal") Case $Priority = "Above Normal" ProcessSetPriority($PID,3) ;MsgBox(0,"","Priority set to Above Normal") Case $Priority = "High" ProcessSetPriority($PID,4) ;MsgBox(0,"","Priority set to High") EndSelect EndFunc

jvanegmond Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 I think that once you press the combo button, the currently active window is your own window. github.com/jvanegmond
BitByteBit Posted November 6, 2009 Author Posted November 6, 2009 BitByteBit, Difficult not to spoonfeed when the spoon is so small! $iPID = WinGetProcess("[active]") M23 Ahahah . Thanks! I think that once you press the combo button, the currently active window is your own window. If I build that into the while with a sleep, so every 10 secs it checks active window, would that work ?
