dear friends i am very much new to autoit and i am trying to automat our testing tool with autoit. The problem i am facing is i am not able to tab or if i decide to you use mouseclick then i have to give x-y coordinates which i dont know. So please help me out by telling me how to ease the mouse clicking instead of knowing coordinates and also how to use tab key?

well thanks a lot and also i checked it but the thing is i am already having a testing tool GUI and i want to make it a automatic test release so that my supervisor should not all the time select the option on the GUI and do the testing he just wants me to make it automatic and the problem is i never used this software...so i need ur help.

1) when i run my test tool a gui window opens and then i have to click on some buttons..but i am nt able to click the button properly or u can say tht i dnt knw wat to write in the code to click tht option..........plz help meeeeeeeeee

Since none of us likely has the test tool then we can only give you generalities.

Use the AutoIt Window Info tool to get the information about the Test tool windows.

See the functions in the help file under the categories "Window Management" and "Controls" for specific functions.

You don't usually need specific coordinates for clicking if you can get the proper control info by using the Window Info tool.
