Moderators SmOke_N Posted August 12, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) im have to use file from server so i think theres a delay bc of thatstill pretty good tho smoke =) (16173 milliseconds)On a very slow network connection, and a much slower computer... my results were similar.It might be faster to copy the file to local disk, do the function, then delete the local disk copy.Still, 16 seconds from 7 minutes is an improvement I'm sure you can live with.Edit:The FileCopy() to local disk, then the function call to that location, was almost 50% faster.
