Hi there, i had an idea about being able to pin any file to the windows 10 start menu.
At first, i searched around and found a registry tweak they said would enable just that. But Didn't work.
Now i see there are a couple of registry keys directly related to the pinned items in:
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserAssist
Process Monitor shows me that everytime i pin/unpin an item, a registry key in there is modified, the trouble is that the text doesn't make sense.
Example:
{1NP14R77-02R7-4R5Q-O744-2RO1NR5198O7}\JvaqbjfCbjreFuryy\i1.0\cbjrefuryy_vfr.rkr
It's a binary string, and i found a post in another site that claims to be a decrypter for exactly this, but it's autohotkey.
My hope is that if i can encrypt a file path, and write it to registry, im able to see it in the start menu..
