So, just found this and looks awesome. Much cleaner than Scite. One thing I'd like to see is Git integration. Most modern IDE's now a days have built in git integration, would be nice to have something similar. Intellij has spoiled me. Great work, thanks!

Very slow pixel search on Windows 10
Mysticdrew replied to rimmi2002's topic in AutoIt General Help and Support
Fastfind is what I had to resort to using. However, possible solutions can be found here. https://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/126430-advanced-pixel-search-library/page/18/?tab=comments#comment-1328566 -
Slow work with desktop on Windows 10 - (Moved)
Mysticdrew replied to eXskill's topic in AutoIt General Help and Support
I made this post 3 years ago which has a possible solution. -
Please review this, post I made regarding getting Pixel colors and windows 10, Your library helps a bit, but still does not provide the speed in Windows 10 that the basic autoit PixelGetColor has in Windows 7. This library does help quite a bit in Windows 10 compared to PixelGetColor, with that example code in the linked post. It brings the execution down to 3 seconds including script startup time. Keep in mind, PixelGetColor on a 39x47 rectangle 8 times is .3 seconds in wondows 7. I have not fully tested with the library in Windows 7 yet. I will update this post when I finish the tests. Here is an old discussion on the root cause of the issue. https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsdesktop/en-US/4db649d2-4747-4773-8f9a-9b74dacc5a7d/getpixel-calls-slow-under-aero?forum=windowsuidevelopment Here is one possible solution. http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/617613/Fast-pixel-operations-in-NET-with-and-without-unsa

With windows 10 WindowsDesktopManager is integrated with the system. In windows 7 it could be disabled by turning off Aero. I do not know about windows 8 or 8.1 as I never used those versions. Now WDM causing massive slowness when doing pixel detection. For example the following code example: It's just verifying every other pixel in a 39x47 rectangle is black by checking it 8 times. Windows 10, takes 60.728 seconds to run. Windows 7, takes 0.2904 seconds to run. Hopefully this is the correct place to post this so the developers can address this issue for future releases! #include <Color.au3> $fileStringA = this post may be better suited in the technical discussions I don't see a way to delete it.

I use SciTe. and I was working on a bot for Silkroad online. Auto it would be perfect for it except the fact that it cannot detect a cursor change. All pixel stuff is done at the below the mouse from my tests. I guess I will be writing an extension for Innerspace and work with the memory of the game todo the botting.
-
Hmm. I even edited the cursor within the Exe with a resource editor to the normal windows cursors and it still reports at Cursor ID:0
-
I was wondering if you can get ID's from Cursors Inside of games instead of using the simple windows ones. If so how would I go about doing it? Basicly what I'm doing is looking for a cursor change then do an action. But the cursor is always at 0 even when it changes. I'd like the return value to change with the cursor does in the game. Thanks.
