I wanted to use OpenCV v4+ in AutoIt. I found Opencv UDF on the forum, but there was no support for OpenCV v4+ This UDF provides support for OpenCV v4+ Update There is a new implementation using COM. It is almost as easy as python to use It is also possible to interact with GDI+ Download and extract opencv-4.10.0-windows.exe into a folder Download and extract autoit-opencv-4.10.0-com-v2.6.2.7z into a folder Sources Here Documentation A generated documentation for functions is available here Examples More samples can be found here To run them, please follow these instructions Showing an image #Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=y #EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #include "autoit-opencv-com\udf\opencv_udf_utils.au3" _OpenCV_Open("opencv-4.7.0-windows\opencv\build\x64\vc16\bin\opencv_world470.dll", "autoit-opencv-com\autoit_opencv_com470.dll") OnAutoItExitRegister("_OnAutoItExit") Example() Func Example() Local $cv = _OpenCV_get() If Not IsObj($cv) Then Return Local $img = _OpenCV_imread_and_check(_OpenCV_FindFile("samples\data\lena.jpg")) $cv.imshow("Image", $img) $cv.waitKey() $cv.destroyAllWindows() EndFunc ;==>Example Func _OnAutoItExit() _OpenCV_Close() EndFunc ;==>_OnAutoItExit Drawing contours #Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=y #EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #include "autoit-opencv-com\udf\opencv_udf_utils.au3" _OpenCV_Open("opencv-4.7.0-windows\opencv\build\x64\vc16\bin\opencv_world470.dll", "autoit-opencv-com\autoit_opencv_com470.dll") OnAutoItExitRegister("_OnAutoItExit") Example() Func Example() Local $cv = _OpenCV_get() If Not IsObj($cv) Then Return Local $img = _OpenCV_imread_and_check("samples\data\pic1.png") Local $img_grey = $cv.cvtColor($img, $CV_COLOR_BGR2GRAY) $cv.threshold($img_grey, 100, 255, $CV_THRESH_BINARY) Local $thresh = $cv.extended[1] Local $contours = $cv.findContours($thresh, $CV_RETR_TREE, $CV_CHAIN_APPROX_SIMPLE) ConsoleWrite("Found " & UBound($contours) & " contours" & @CRLF & @CRLF) $cv.drawContours($img, $contours, -1, _OpenCV_Scalar(0, 0, 255), 2) $cv.imshow("Image", $img) $cv.waitKey() $cv.destroyAllWindows() EndFunc ;==>Example Func _OnAutoItExit() _OpenCV_Close() EndFunc ;==>_OnAutoItExit Showing an image in autoit GUI #Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=y #EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #include "autoit-opencv-com\udf\opencv_udf_utils.au3" #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> _OpenCV_Open("opencv-4.7.0-windows\opencv\build\x64\vc16\bin\opencv_world470.dll", "autoit-opencv-com\autoit_opencv_com470.dll") OnAutoItExitRegister("_OnAutoItExit") Example() Func Example() Local $cv = _OpenCV_get() If Not IsObj($cv) Then Return #Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form= Local $FormGUI = GUICreate("show image in autoit gui", 400, 400, 200, 200) Local $Pic = GUICtrlCreatePic("", 0, 0, 400, 400) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) #EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ### Local $img = _OpenCV_imread_and_check(_OpenCV_FindFile("samples\data\lena.jpg")) _OpenCV_imshow_ControlPic($img, $FormGUI, $Pic) Local $nMsg While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE ExitLoop EndSwitch WEnd $cv.destroyAllWindows() EndFunc ;==>Example Func _OnAutoItExit() _OpenCV_Close() EndFunc ;==>_OnAutoItExit Showing an image in an autosized autoit GUI #Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=y #EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #include "autoit-opencv-com\udf\opencv_udf_utils.au3" #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> _OpenCV_Open("opencv-4.7.0-windows\opencv\build\x64\vc16\bin\opencv_world470.dll", "autoit-opencv-com\autoit_opencv_com470.dll") OnAutoItExitRegister("_OnAutoItExit") Example() Func Example() Local $cv = _OpenCV_get() If Not IsObj($cv) Then Return #Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form= Local $FormGUI = GUICreate("show image in autoit gui [WINDOW_AUTOSIZE]", 400, 400, 200, 200) Local $Pic = GUICtrlCreatePic("", 0, 0, 400, 400) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) #EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ### Local $img = _OpenCV_imread_and_check(_OpenCV_FindFile("samples\data\lena.jpg")) ; Many people wanted to see the content of an array inside another array using either _ArrayDisplay or _DebugArrayDisplay. Now it is possible with this UDF. But first I want to give my sincere congratulations to those who have invested long efforts to create ArrayDisplayInternals.au3 (Melba23, jpm, LarsJ, pixelsearch). Most of the code and ingenuity come from those authors. I would say over 90% of the code comes from the original UDF. With this new UDF, you can dig into a tree of arrays inside arrays as deep as you want. There is no limit on the levels of recursion. When you click on an {array} cell, it will bring you a new window (either _ArrayDisplay or _DebugArrayDisplay depending what was called first). Although there is no limit on recursion levels, there is a few limitations that must be mentioned : You need to close all windows before ending the UDF (you can exit script on any level in debug mode) You can only show one array per level at a giving time You cannot manipulate a lower level window untill its child has been closed Example : #include "ArrayDisplayInternalsEX.au3" Local $a = ["a", 2, 3] Local $b = [["x", "y", $a, "z"], [1, $a, 2, 3], [$a, "a", "b", "c"]] Local $c = ["x", "y", 1, $b, "a", 8 ,9 , 10, 11, 12, 13, "abcdef"] _DebugArrayDisplayEX($c, "Test") Enjoy ! I had this GIF animation script, but it was kind of slow when multiple GIFs were displayed. And then Bilgus posted a framework of how to use GDI+ Cached Bitmaps. I transformed my script and was very happy of the result. Hope you like it too. I enclosed the GIF, the UDF and the example into the zip file. ps. Hope KaFu won't mind as I used his avatar in the example Version 2023-08-15 * Added support for SetOnEvent GUI, while deletion of controls happens frequently * Optimized some minor code parts * Solved a possible stack overflow issue Version 2022-12-06 * Added support to transparent GIF over window background. The type of GIF that necessitate erasure between frames. Version 2022-04-07 * Added double buffering for all GIF * Added ability to erase each frame before repainting, thru a new optional parameter. This is required when the frames do not cover the whole area, leaving a trace of the previous frame. * Added support for the usage of the Default keyword for optional parameters Version 2020-12-20 * Changed frame delays from 0 to a minimum delay to prevent CPU overload Version 2020-12-02 * Reuse empty slots left by the deletion of GIF controls * Corrected bugs Version 2020-12-01 * Added support to delete a GIF control Version 2020-11-29 * Corrected bug on unregister adlib function (thanks to PixelSearch) Included in the zip file 2 examples. One with multiple GIF. Second with transparent GIF over a window background. Cached GIF Animation.zip1 point

Scite Autocomplete after 2 chars typed, how ?
pixelsearch reacted to Jos for a topic
It is defined in Lua so anything is possible... would have to have a more detailed look, but .... Not so much there unless you handle this yourself. ... but the Full version of SciTE4AutoIt3 is already has this covert for Continuation characters:1 point -
@mandriospo You should pass your arrays with ByRef, especially if the arrays get larger. Otherwise the arrays are copied and can consume quite some time for nothing.1 point

Create an image list and apply against the toolbar, see _GUICtrlToolbar_SetImageList in the help file for an example $hToolbar = _GUICtrlToolbar_Create($hGUI) $hImages = _GUIImageList_Create(32, 24) _GUIImageList_AddIcon($hImages, @SystemDir & "\shell32.dll", 5) _GUICtrlToolbar_SetImageList($hToolbar, $hImages)1 point -
