Items of first Column in ListView displayed as empty lines under Windows Vista?

Hi all,

Some one can check this please on Window Vista - This example will show GUI with ListView that have two columns, as some of my friends explained to me, the first column items is empty (they exists, but empy):

I have Vista, but do all of my development under XP.

I couldn't even compile your script under Vista (it doesn't show as saved in the Autoit directory, although the SciTE editor shows it as residing there, but not the explorer).

You do not need to compile, just run the script (save the code to any au3 file), and tell me please if you see the items of first column, that's it

I tell you, I've long ago (this spring) given up on Vista ...

When I load your script into SciTE, it shows the correct path and your code. But when I click on "Tools" and "Go", another window (like Windows Explorer) opens, titled "Select Script to Compile with AUT2EXE ?". This then shows the proper path and filelist, (meaning all *.au3 files) except for the saved file - so I cannot select it ... not even days later. I couldn't open it in SciTE if it didn't exist - could I?

After that, I only get "AutoIT 3 Compile, do you want to stop the process? Yes No". With "Yes", it goes back to SciTE and "No" gives me that picklist without the saved file.

I think some of my first posts here were part of an attempt to solve Vista's inconsistencies, but there is truly more important stuff to do in life than being a slave to Microsoft's whims. I feel like I bought a car, where the manufacturer has more control over where it can go than me ... and constantly keeps coming back installing "updates" without even bothering to ask whether I want them or not.

And since all my important stuff runs on other XP and Win98 machines, I just prefer working under XP.
