IanR Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 As of this morning's update, AVG antivirus has started deleting compiled v2 scripts (without warning or confirmation!) when it performs a scheduled scan. This is due to a Trojan false-alarm. If you use AVG, make sure your scripts are backed-up or you could lose them. If it says "Made in China" then it just might be made by slave labour...
layer Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Jon, or anyone, any feedback on this? Want to call AVG and raise hell ? FootbaG
GaryFrost Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 doesn't affect v3 scripts, don't have v2 on system anymore. SciTE for AutoItDirections for Submitting Standard UDFs Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
zcoacoaz Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 I have v2 scripts, that sucks because i always use AVG. [font="Times"] If anyone remembers me, I am back. SundanceT Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 I still have the au3's. But it got my exe's. I've heard the latest, latest AVG update doesn't do this. I'm trying that now.
