You know the problem. When re-installing your Laptop/Desktop/Server you always need to go on the internet to find the latest drivers of your hardware ... B)

Because it's really annoying and because it would be a lot easier, I want to create an AutoUpdater script for Automatic Driver Updating.

I know, there are allready some apps that do so, but they are not free :o

So tell me, who wants to help ?

Thanks MHZ for your reply.

It's true that those packages help a lot allready, but what I really want is a GUI thingie that loads up the database of your hardware and sees on the internet if updates for your drivers are available.

But still, thanks for the tip B)

Piccaso, thanks for joining us on this. I was allready looknig for MySQL compatibility, but I guess my question has been answered by you. So yes, I will need SQLITE support for this ...

Add me on MSN or ICQ, so we can discuss that

Thanks !
