Mmmm, seems like a bug to me. I can't get it to work, even after correct the source path to '.BinTest.txt'. I'm not seeing the file in the compiled resources.

If I compile a script to a3x in v3.3.8.1 and then FileInstall in a script compiled as v3.3.8.1 then there is no problem. But ... If I compile a script to a3x in v3.3.8.1 and then FileInstall in a script compiled as v3.9.9.8 the file isn't installed. If I compile a script to a3x in v3.9.9.8 and then FileInstall in a script compiled as v3.9.9.8 the file isn't installed. Works when I refined the problem down to a test script. I have no clue why SciTE Jump installs the Monitor.a3x in v3.3.8.1 but not this one! wraithdu Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) I think I got it... wrapper no longer reads / write the overlay for AutoIt versions above 3.3.9.4. I'm assuming the FileInstall data is stored as an overlay and thus gets obliterated when wrapped does any resource updates. Perhaps it's time for Aut2Exe to store FileInstall data in resources as well. Or... wrapper has to do a scan of the script for the FileInstall function, and re-enable the overlay read/write :/ Edited July 18, 2013 by wraithdu

There is no separation of script and fileinstall. In fact, if FileInstall is failing then the script should fail as well.
