Bug with child window? need dummy SetTip to work properly

Hi there,

I need here someone to check this behaviour, it's very unexpected for me...

The problem is this: When the parent window have GUICtrlSetTip() for at least one control, then the child window must have it as well, otherwise when we reactivate the app, we can see only the child window.

Run this example, then activate some other window (but only not the desktop), and then activate the GUI back (by clicking on the button in tasks panel), you will see only the child window.

BUT, if you uncomment two lines in the code, this "effect" is gone...

Can anyone confirm please? it's took me a while to figure out the problem, i had to break my main script into a parts...

The GUICtrlSetTip(-1, "") workaroud works for cutsom created child GUI, but what to do if i need to display simple MsgBox? how to set Tip for one of the MsgBox's controls?

I can confirm the effect but I have no idea why.

If you want to have a tip hint for a MsgBox then I would expect it's easier to make your own gui for the message box, or adapt something like MsgBoxex.
