eignxing
Hey guys, while testing a program using this function I am getting an error when using the following parameters: _ArrayCombinations($array, 3, ",") Where the size of $array is 8. The strange thing is that it seems to work with sizes 7 and below and sizes 9 and greater. I don't have time to look at it this morning, but I'll come back later and see if I can figure it out. I get errors as well for $iSet values of 3, 5 and 7. Seems to be a bug in the function. $iSet = 3 and 7: C:\Programme\AutoIt3\Include\array.au3 (175) : ==> Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded.: $aResult[$iCount] &= $avArray[$aIdx[$i]] & $sDelim ^ ERROR $iSet = 5: C:\Programme\AutoIt3\Include\array.au3 (1516) : ==> Array variable subscript badly formatted.: WEnd WEnd^ ERROR I run AutoIt 3.3.4.0 and 3.3.5.0 beta. I get the same errors with both versions. jchd
There is indeed a bug in the Array.au3 UDF.You can correct it temporarily as follow:Locate the Array.au3 file in the include folder of AutoIt (and possibly the beta if you use it)Change the file permission to allow writingEdit line 1485 in function __Array_Combinations. It was: Return $i_Totalchange to: Return Round($i_Total)Save and restore read-only permission.Enjoy. water
Thanks for the fast reply. I changed the Array.au3 as suggested and now everything works fine. Thanks for taking the time to track this error. Do you open a bug report?
