MrCreatoR
Hi there, I need here someone to check this behaviour, it's very unexpected for me... The problem is this: When the parent window have GUICtrlSetTip() for at least one control, then the child window must have it as well, otherwise when we reactivate the app, we can see only the child window. Run this example, then activate some other window (but only not the desktop), and then activate the GUI back (by clicking on the button in tasks panel), you will see only the child window. BUT, if you uncomment two lines in the code, this "effect" is gone... #include <GuiConstants.au3> $GUI = GUICreate("Test Script", 300, 200) GUICtrlCreateButton("Button", 20, 40, 60, 20) GUICtrlSetTip(-1, "TipText") GUISetState(@SW_SHOW, $GUI) GUISetState(@SW_DISABLE, $GUI) $Child_GUI = GUICreate("Child", 200, 120, -1, -1, -1, -1, $GUI) ;GUICtrlCreateLabel("Label", -99, -99) ;GUICtrlSetTip(-1, "Child TipText") GUISetState(@SW_SHOW, $Child_GUI) While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg(1) Switch $nMsg[0] Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE If $nMsg[1] = $GUI Then Exit GUISetState(@SW_ENABLE, $GUI) GUIDelete($Child_GUI) EndSwitch WEnd Can anyone confirm please? it's took me a while to figure out the problem, i had to break my main script into a parts... I can confirm the effect but I have no idea why. If you want to have a tip hint for a MsgBox then I would expect it's easier to make your own gui for the message box, or adapt something like MsgBoxex. Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
